Job Summary:

We are seeking an innovative and skilled Augmented Reality (AR) Specialist to join our team. The AR Specialist will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing AR experiences that enhance our software products and create immersive user experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AR development, a deep understanding of AR technologies, and a passion for pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the digital space.

Key Responsibilities:

1. AR Development:

• Design and develop AR applications and experiences using platforms like Unity, Unreal Engine, ARKit, ARCore, or similar.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and other stakeholders to create AR features that align with business goals and user needs.

1. Prototyping and Concept Development:

• Create prototypes and proofs of concept to demonstrate the potential of AR applications and gather feedback.
• Experiment with new AR technologies and techniques to continuously improve the quality and innovation of our AR solutions.

1. User Experience (UX) Design:

• Work closely with the UX/UI team to ensure that AR experiences are intuitive, engaging, and user-friendly.
• Conduct user testing to refine and optimize AR interactions and interfaces.

1. Technical Implementation:

• Integrate AR features into existing software products and platforms, ensuring compatibility and performance across devices.
• Optimize AR experiences for different platforms, including mobile devices, smart glasses, and other AR hardware.

1. Research and Innovation:

• Stay updated on the latest AR trends, tools, and technologies.
• Explore new opportunities for AR applications within the company’s product portfolio and suggest innovative solutions.

1. Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, designers, product managers, and marketing teams.
• Present AR concepts and solutions to internal teams and clients, effectively communicating the value and functionality of AR experiences.

1. Project Management:

• Manage AR projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with project goals.
• Coordinate with external vendors and partners as needed to deliver high-quality AR solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Interactive Media, or a related field.
• Proven experience in AR development, including hands-on experience with AR platforms such as Unity, Unreal Engine, ARKit, or ARCore.
• Strong programming skills, particularly in languages like C#, C++, or JavaScript.
• Experience with 3D modeling, animation, and visual effects, and familiarity with tools like Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max.
• Understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices for AR applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with virtual reality (VR) development.
• Knowledge of machine learning and computer vision techniques as applied to AR.
• Familiarity with wearable AR devices and emerging AR hardware.
• Experience working in an agile development environment
